The Apostasy

Years changed to centuries and then centuries to millennia, and Malvorn’s envy manifested into malice. Driven now by self-aggrievement and vengeance, the dark lord stirred from the depths of the Netherworld and schemed against Er’s children.
Then came the day when Malvorn approached the nine Alomerim in secret. Using his charm, he beguiled them into believing that they would be worshipped as gods if they simply walked among mankind. To the scorn of Er, the Alomerim fell to Malvorn’s deception and departed their habitation in the Shamah for Olam.
Mankind was enthralled with the arrival of the Alomerim, who were supernatural beings that could be seen and interacted with. As a result, each nation of Men quickly dedicated its own pantheon to the Alomerim and have falsely worshipped them as gods ever since. Consequently, over time Men grew to forget the truth and turned their back on Er and his way.
But Malvorn wasn’t finished with his plan. Next, he singled out Kemuel, Lamech, and Tebah from among the other Alomerim, and further enticed them with his cunning. The dark lord convinced the three servants that they too had been aggrieved by their creator, who clearly showed favor to the mortal children born onto Olam. Hence the three Alomerim joined Malvorn in his hatred for Er’s children and bent a knee to the Iron Crown.
Twice now Malvorn transgressed upon the creator, Er. Therefore he was struck from the book of life and sentenced to perish; thus denied any chance at redemption. Er then set himself against the three disgraced Alomerim, for they had despised his love and followed Malvorn; and they also were sentenced to perish.
